U.S. Annual Budget Still Awaiting Publication

  • By Steph. G. Halston
  • (General Dispatch) – The current administration of Joe Biden reported Monday that it is unable to schedule a date on its calendar for the release of the fiscal year 2022 budget.
  • When questioned by the press about the annual budget, Psaki responded “hopefully it will be very soon”. Bypassing one of the mechanisms enshrined in the constitution.
  • It should be noted that former White House administrations provided information on the matter, respecting the time periods stipulated by law to make public the nation’s revenues and expenditures.
  • In relation to this issue, Psaki blamed former President Donald Trump for the Biden administration’s delay in fulfilling its duties.
  • At the same time, Psaki’s remarks have no valid basis because it is Joe Biden who conducts the nation’s policies, and not at all Trump represents the obstacle for such non-compliance.
  • In the same vein, the press secretary announced that President Joe Biden has appointed an interim budget director who is working to ensure an optimal work.
  • Meanwhile, specialists in the area affirm that complying with the mechanisms of the nation’s public budget is an essential task to know the destination of the country’s public revenues.
  • Once again, Americans will have to wait for the White House to fulfill its duties and inform the nation of the procedures to be executed the following fiscal year.
