Megan Rapinoe Speaks out Against Criticism of Draymond Green

• (General Dispatch) – US soccer player Megan Rapinoe made a criticism of basketball player Draymond Jamal Green after he pointed out that women complain too much.

• The basketball player made such a message for the efforts being made by the equal pay movement for women in sports, referring with derogatory language, and boasting that men make more money than women.

• “It’s really unfortunate, in the position that [Green ‘s] in, having all the resources that she has and the ability to have a much more educated opinion, that she just hasn’t done it,” Rapinoe said.

• The player also made other harsh criticisms against the basketball player, referring to how complicated it is for women in the sport, not having a fair economic support that allows the optimal development of the players.

• Rapinoe added that she understands the complex situation that the nation is going through due to political, racial, sex, religious, gender and other issues. She regretted and pointed out as “disappointing” that the player does not support women’s sports.

• On the other hand Rapinoe was forceful in responding to all the criticisms of the player made through the social network twitter against players in the WNBA, who requested a similar payment to NBA players.

• On the other hand Green responded to the messages of the soccer player, pointing out that women should request support from large institutions to support women’s sports in general, and not a specific sport.
