- In retrospect, Hagerty was ambassador to Japan during Trump’s tenure, and the two have maintained a warm and diplomatic relationship focused on U.S. interests since that time.
- During the meeting, the congressman highlighted achievements during the Trump era, such as the nation’s economic growth, and the strengthening of military strength.
- At the same time, the allies discussed various issues such as the border crisis and electoral integrity, which are currently controversial issues in the country.
- Meanwhile, Hagerty expressed that “President Trump is engaged and energized, and remains focused on fighting for forgotten men and women across the country.”
- Fundamentally, the rhetoric of the conversation centered on how the United States is being overrun by drugs from Mexican cartels operating along the border.
- So much so, that both hope to devise an efficient strategic plan that can mitigate the humanitarian and migration crisis along the southern Texas border.
- While the White House focuses its partisan interests on unimportant issues, part of the old administration’s management is directing resources and efforts so that the United States can continue to move forward in the midst of the crisis caused by the Bide
