  • The accusation took place during a broadcast made by the activist when she was sharing online artworks that highlight female anatomy and allegedly project images censored in the country.
  • The platform where the art gallery was developed is called VKontakte where images of a vagina in multiple colors were published, in detail the accusations cannot be disclosed by court orders.
  • The accused is 27-year-old Yulia Tsvetkova, who is in custody for a year and a half today, says she will prove her innocence at the hearing to be held on Monday.
  • In another of her performances, Tsvetkova is an advocate of feminism and LGBTQ rights, and a children’s theater director who constantly fights to achieve their rights.
  • It should be noted that President Vladimir Putin issued a ruling banning homosexual activities and issues related to same-sex marriage.
