- (General Dispatch) – According to information provided by the CDC, only a negligible percentage of Americans who have been vaccinated against the Chinese coronavirus have been infected again.
- According to the statements of the competent body, only 5,800 people have contracted the virus again after having been vaccinated against covid-19.
- This represents 0.007% of the U.S. population that has already received the immunization, out of a total of 76.6 million inhabitants.
- However, the CDC warns that this does not represent a risk because the number of repeat infections is very minimal. At the same time, it asks all citizens to get vaccinated.
- The U.S. health agency then asks the public to continue to implement biosecurity measures, especially the use of face masks and social distancing.
- The ages at greatest risk continue to be adults over 60 years of age.
- Joe Biden’s administration continues to direct all resources and efforts to ensure that the population has access to the vaccine as soon as possible.
- In the meantime, the vaccine manufacturing companies are developing their production process to achieve the government’s goal as of May 1st.
