- (General Dispatch) – According to an Associated Press report, a senior U.S. official who preferred not to reveal his identity says that the Biden administration is willing to negotiate with Iran.
- The official assures that Joe Biden, in order to return to the nuclear agreement, is willing to lift the sanctions that were once imposed on Iran.
- Despite the administration’s refusal to continue with the sanctions, the White House’s interests seem to be changing direction.
- Apparently, the list is already designed and will make official the lifting of certain sanctions against Iran.
- Everything seems to indicate that the agreements are being carried out quietly, until the rapprochement between the two nations is officially confirmed.
- In retrospect, this was one of the requests that the Iranian government made publicly in order to be able to hold a conversation with the United States.
- As a consequence, the U.S. would return again to the nuclear deal that Biden is so ambitious for in his term in office, leaving aside Donald Trump’s former policies.
- If the official’s assertions prove to be true, in the coming weeks the press will record in its pages the White House’s achieved objective.
