- (General Dispatch) – Republican representatives on Monday asked the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to investigate the son of U.S. President Hunter Biden for matters related to firearms purchases.
- The indictment stems from the apparent lie the president’s son sustained when responding to a Form 4473, used for background checks related to firearms purchases.
- However, the politician’s son Joe Biden issued a strong response stating that he had not purchased firearms, along with the use of narcotics.
- Previously, relatives of President Biden have noted the family’s struggle with drug abuse that Hunter Biden may have had at the time.
- Now, according to an interview with the president’s son on CBS News’ Tracy Smith, he admitted that he was once heavily involved with drugs.
- Of course, the accusations become much more controversial because it is about the son of the president of the United States, therefore, Democratic representatives request that the facts of 2018 be fully clarified.
- At the same time, Hunter Biden proves to be fully aware of the situation, and faces the accusations with total serenity.
- It will soon be known if the request of the Republican representatives will proceed after three years of the events that weigh against him.
