Nigel Farage: The Right Wing may be Back in Charge in the U.S., Brexit is Proof of That

  • By Jennifer Prill
  • (General Dispatch) –  Political leader Nigel Farage told the media that the U.S. right wing can regain its political footing despite losing to an aging president.
  • Farage compared the situation with respect to Brexit, where the UK had countless institutional hurdles for the country to succeed in exiting the European bloc and assuming its independence.
  • The Brexit leader said that this breakthrough should be viewed with optimism, and cause politicians who support Trump to start generating strategies to retake the presidency in the next election polls.
  • “There is no doubt that the Trump campaign believed in the key message of Brexit, that the establishment could be defeated, and that message was a crucial part of their success in the November 2016 election,” Farage said.
  • Farage said that 2016 was a key year, for the populist revolt that manifested itself in the US, apart from the fact that it all started since the political leader will speak to the media about the dissolution of the UK from the Bloc.
  • He currently sees the political situation in the USA in grave danger due to the measures being adopted by the Biden administration, where the Democrats are seeking to obtain a greater number of seats in the Senate.
  • On the other hand, the social policy being implemented allows racial advocacy groups such as Black Lives Matter to take a certain position creating an even bigger gap between the black and white community.
  • Farage said that his visit to the U.S. made him aware of how demoralized some members of Congress are, but he was able to talk to them, encouraging them to continue the fight despite the obstacles.
