Democratic Governor of Connecticut Sets Corporate Pardons aside
- By James Kravitz
- (General Dispatch) – The Governor announced Thursday that restrictions implemented during the pandemic that regulated certain commercial and recreational establishments will be lifted.
- The measure was implemented based on the decrease in the number of contagions and on the progressiveness in which the population is being vaccinated.
- Places such as stadiums, amusement parks and theaters will be able to open as of April 2. Of course, they will not be able to work at 100% of their capacity and will have to continue wearing protective masks.
- On the other hand, social gatherings may be held considering a certain number of people according to the physical capacity of the place.
- The purpose of the regulation is to reactivate the state’s economy at a higher level and to recover the sources of employment paralyzed by COVID-19.
- The governor’s aspirations are that soon the reactivation of different sectors will reach 100% of their capacity in the different activities.
- From the White House, President Biden announced that the decisions made by the governors of Texas and Mississippi are based on “Neanderthal thinking”.
- It is expected that the functionality in the operation of the different commercial sectors will be normal, and once again, it is not expected that the virus will spread.
