- (General Dispatch) – After participating in a TV show called “interview with Oprah”, Meghan Markle the wife of Prince Harry is evaluating to start a political career in the U.S. nation in order to reach the presidential elections.
- A senior official with close ties to the White House said in an interview the mail on sunday that Ms. Markle is working in conjunction with senior Democrats in order to run for next presidential election.
- “Blairite, internationalist and Democratic party networks are abuzz with conversations about Meghan’s political ambitions and potential backers” the official said.
- This would make Meghan the first woman president of the United States despite Hillary Clinton’s close call. If it were to come to fruition it would give a major political turnaround to the nation.
- One of the main reasons Meghan did not renounce her U.S. citizenship was because she intends to enter the political race.
- Democrats support Meghan’s initiative of wanting to run for president, but advised that she will have to renounce royal titles to be eligible for public office in the US.
- Meghan disagreed with the Trump administration’s policies, even going so far as to single out Donald as a “divisive” and “misogynistic” president in the 2016 election. She also played a leading role in encouraging people to vote in the election polls.
- On the other hand, Brexit leader Nigel Farage intends to send a statement to the US next week to deny the Duchess of Sussex’s possible accusations about the royal family, calling them “racist”.
