- (General Dispatch) – In order to close the cycle of obstructionism, Senator Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats are designing a series of strategies to fulfill the promise that brought them to power and “change the world.
- The legislation is aimed at curbing gun ownership, free market capitalism, legal immigration, and voter ID legislation.
- The goal of this alliance is to establish a point of agreement between Democratic and Republican Senators, in order to initiate the program that gives great achievements to the American nation.
- At the same time, Republicans are questioning the idea of ending the filibuster, but finding the proposal attractive. Not an easy task.
- If an agreement of this dimension is reached, the Senate in general would be obtaining a wonderful result, since it is time to put aside partisan interests and work for the good of the nation.
- Senator Chris Coons, President Biden’s main ally, said he “will be attentive to the proposals that are put forward and to the results that may arise”.
- This would be the first time that the senators after three months could reach an agreement and consolidate effective policies for the development of the United States.
- According to comments from Republican senators, “the Democrats appear to be serious about this issue”. Therefore, it is expected that in the next few days this planning will materialize.
