Italian Drug Trafficker Caught After Authorities Discover his Youtube Show

  • (General Dispatch) – An Italian drug trafficker made a cooking show with his wife through the website Youtube from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
  • The offender Marc Feren Claude Biart, born in Rome, Italy, was a fugitive from justice for more than 5 years, but he was identified thanks to the tattoos that were visualized in his program and was corroborated through identification software.
  • Marc is linked to being an active member of the Cacciola clan of the ‘Ndrangheta in Rosarno in Italy, an important crime group, perpetrators of a large number of crimes including trafficking of psychotropic substances.
  • The 53 year old criminal, while on the run, dedicated himself to tattooing and preparing gourmet food as a hobby, but it was difficult to identify him as he was using biosecurity measures.
  • The man maintained an arrest warrant since 2014 through Interpol, he stayed hidden in Boca Chica, a coastal area of the Dominican Republic while enjoying the beaches.
  • Ndrangheta is one of the largest organized crime organizations, being based in the Calabria region of Italy, although it is not as well known in the world compared to former Italian mafias such as the Cosa Nostra.
  • In the country it has been attributed with a large number of crimes, where different security institutions have kept track of its crimes such as the State Police, the Carabinieri and the Guardia di Finanza.
  • On the other hand, the Italian security associated with Interpol managed to capture another Ndrangheta mafia boss who has been on the run for 14 years, Francesco Pelle, who was arrested in a clinic while he was in care due to covid 19 symptoms.
