- Psaki affirmed that migrant families are separated by their own free will, under no circumstances are Border Patrol officials the ones who separate them.
- The spokeswoman then acknowledged that President Joe Biden will continue to accept immigrants who are separated from their families.
- At the same time, Psaki revealed how the migrants who cross the border are distributed: unaccompanied children are taken to Texas, while some parents are returned to Mexican territory if they do not manage to escape.
- In retrospect, Jen Psaki expressed that Donald Trump’s administration was only returning migrants to their country of origin, forgetting that former President Trump never called for the same, as Joe Biden does.
- Regarding the border crisis, as usual, Psaki commented absolutely nothing, only highlighting the efforts of the White House that does not execute forceful actions.
- She also emphasized that Biden provides protection to children and adolescents who come to the country in search of a job and a better future.
- Finally, the Biden administration, in seeking to strengthen its purpose of migration, does not consider the psychological and emotional consequences of immigrants who break with their family integrity.
