- (General Dispatch) – Media outlets have reported that a Uyghur gynecologist was forced to perform around 80 sterilizations a day on Uyghur women in concentration camps.
- The gynecologist identified as Gülgine managed to escape the CCP’s crimes by immigrating to Turkey in 2011, giving this statement to Japanese media outlet Sankei Shimbun in Istanbul.
- Gülgine said that military officials loaded women onto the back of trucks to transport them from concentration camps to hospitals where they were sterilized.
- The 47-year-old gynecologist disclosed to the Japanese media the tools used for sterilization, which were intrauterine devices (IUDs).
- However, Gülgine said the impotence generated in a large number of Uyghur women when they found out that the hospital practice she performed on them prevented them from having children in the future.
- It is presumed that the CCP has been carrying out this practice since 1980 when it began setting up the concentration camps, telling the international media that it was to provide “education” to the small ethnic groups in the region.
- So far several investigations have claimed that around 50,000 Uyghurs have escaped from China’s dictatorship in the Xinjiang region and have tried to move to Turkey where they have sought asylum.
- The CCP has tried to deny all the accusations made against it, including the forced labor it has against ethnic groups for the production of cotton to meet the high demand for the product both domestically and internationally.
